This Deluxe Kit has the essentials of what you need for developing a solid foundation of playing scent work with your dog! You have the choice of scenting your own cotton swabs or you can choose to have a set of 15 variable length pre-scented swabs included in your kit.

The Essential Oils in the Amber Bottles will be specific to the organization you choose. NACSW uses Sweet Birch (Betula Lenta), Aniseed (Pimpinella Anisum), and Clove Bud (Eugenia Caryophylatta). AKC uses the same 3 oils as NACSW, but they also add Cypress (Cupressus Sempevirens). UKC uses the same 3 oils as NACSW, but they also add Myrrh Oil (Commiphora Myrrha) and Vetiver Oil (Vetiveria Zizanoides). SDDA uses Wintergreen (Gaultharia Procumbens), Pine (Pinus Sylvestris) and RedThyme (Thymus Vulgaris). And the CKC uses Wintergreen (Gaultharia Procumbens), Pine (Pinus Sylvestris), Aniseed (Pimpinella Anisum), Clove Bud (Eugenia Caryophylatta).

The Birch & Wintergreen bottles have the option for either a child resistant cap or an easy open cap, which is NOT child resistant.

~ The AKC & CKC Kit will include 4 Small Glass Jars, along with the 4 Essential Oils in the amber bottles in the Medium Water-proof Case.
~ The CPE and UKC kits will include 5 of the Small Glass Jars, along with all 5 of the Essential Oils in the amber bottles in the Medium Water-proof Case.
~ Child Resistant Cap Style is ONLY available for the Birch & Wintergreen Oil Bottles since they contain methyl salicylate.
~ The Essential Oils in the SDDA & CKC Kits are only available with an Easy Open Cap with an Orifice Reducer or a Child-proof Cap.

~ The Anise Oil might solidify during shipment with the colder temperatures in the winter months. Simply set the bottle of oil in a warm bowl of water for several minutes until the oil has returned to a liquid state.
~ Depending on the country of origin’s distillation process, the Vetiver Essential Oil may have a higher viscosity and will be provided with an additional glass dropper cap. This glass dropper cap should only be used for dispensing the oil. Otherwise, the bottle should be capped with the original cap.

Keep essential oil bottles away from children & also from open flames.  Essential oils are not for human or animal consumption. Oils may be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator. As a general rule essential oils have a 1-2 year shelf life, so it's best to use your oil within a year for it's best potency. All essential oils are distilled from natural botanical sources and so may have variations in smell and color depending on the country of origin, but their essential composition and the dog's recognition of the scent should remain the same.
